kfd Climate Protection Panel Discussion
On 20 November 2021, Beneficial Design Institute founder and director Friederike von Wedel-Parlow took part in the climate protection panel discussion organised by kfd Münster (Catholic Women's Association of Germany).
Under the motto "Climate protection can be this beautiful", the topic of sustainability in fashion was explored from manifold perspectives among the participants Janine Steeger (Green Janine & FUTUREWOMAN), Lars Wittenbrink (Grüne Wiese), Dunja Karabaic (bureau gruen), and Maren Arndt (Board member Schule für Modemacher Münster). Friederike von Wedel-Parlow emphasised that a new quality in fashion is emerging, bringing with it solidarity and change through togetherness.
A fashion show with upcycled one-of-a-kind pieces by the students of the Schule für Modemacher accompanied the event as a creative component.
