For 20 years now, the Akademie der Künste Berlin has been promoting international art of all genres with its scholarship program JUNGE AKADEMIE . In 2017, the group dealt with the topic "RetroProSpekt MODERNE" and invited Prof. Friederike von Wedel-Parlow to discuss with the scholarship holders how fashion and design can be used as a social transformation force for a positive cultural change with "Beneficial Design" - with positive effects for people, environment and economic activity.
