Bundespreis Ecodesign 2019
The Bundespreis Ecodesign was awarded for the eighth time by the Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMU) and the German Environment Agency (UBA) . Friederike von Wedel-Parlow was again invited as a member of an interdisciplinary jury, which for her always offers a great opportunity for valuable exchange. A total of twelve talents were honored for their outstanding design and environmentally friendly as well as future-oriented work .
This year's winningconcepts range from an improved sharing system for e- and cargo bikes to backpacks made of abaca banana fibers and the integration of flour worm farms in bakeries.
