17.02. – 18.02.2018 Kraftwerk Berlin

Within the framework of the Berlin Fashion Week 2018, the old Kraftwerk Berlin became the largest green hub for fair fashion and sustainable lifestyle in Europe with the two trade visitor fairs Greenshowroom & Ethical Fashion Show Behind the scenes, a two-day thinkathon took place during which 28 lateral thinkers from different scientific, economic and creative fields dealt with the textile of the future ("Stoff der Zukunft").

Prof. Friederike von Wedel-Parlow war Teil des „Green Teams“ für die Fashion Council Challenge unter dem Motto: “How can we innovate education and mentorship, so that designers can embrase new sustainable technologies?“ In ihrer Präsentation schlug das Team eine kuratierte Austauschplattform vor, welche der Modeausbildung als Katalysator für Innovation und Talent dienen soll.
